Together, the client and I will discuss their therapy goals and make a plan to address the goals. I practice from a person-centred approach, however, depending on the client's individual needs, I incorporate various therapy interventions from different therapy approaches. Some therapy approaches in which I use interventions from include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Narrative Therapy.

It is the client who knows what hurts, what directions to go, what problems are crucial, what experiences have been deeply buried.
